Here’s How to Make Money on Your Own: Self-employment Strategy

“I can’t seem to find a job but let me just wait for the millions of companies I’ve sent my résumés to and see who is hiring”. Is that what you think, or much worse, tell yourself when your job hunt does not seem to be going right? Well, I’ve got news for you. Waiting for that call is not an option?

What are you passionate about? There must be one or two things you like to do? Explore your mass passions and select exactly what you would like to do. What ability, when given the opportunity, would you exploit to the maximum? Write that down, virtually or physically.

What career chances are available? Now you know what you want to do, what jobs or careers are available in that field? If you like to mix music, what are the jobs available for such? Know them and keep them in mind.

What do you need? Without resources, what you may have can be termed useless. What you need to think about next is what you need. What equipment do you lack and how do you get them? When you get them, where do you begin to exploit them? What space is available and who can you turn to for help?

What steps can you take? You don’t need a company or résumés. There are opportunities for you in your own personal space. All you need to do is to know exactly what you want to, how to do it and what you need to do it. You have your resources so the only thing you have left to do now is to start your work; i.e personal work.

How do you earn? Now that you have all you need in place, you have to develop your market. Who do you know? Who would be interested in what you are doing? You definitely have friends and families who know people who know others so developing a market shouldn’t be that hard.
